In a rare media appearance, Amina, the daughter of the late producer Walid Mustafa, spoke about the difficult period she is going through after her father's passing, affirming that her relationship with the Lebanese artist Carole Samaha, her stepmother, is characterized by love and mutual support.

Amina stated during a press interview at the Energy Drama Cup event in its ninth season that they are "one family in every sense of the word," emphasizing that her relationship with Carole and her half-sister Tala is very strong.

In an emotional message, she said: "I want to say that we are one family, and thank God for the blessing of family. She is my second mother, and I want to thank her for her support and congratulate her on her concert in Lebanon. Tala is truly my sister."

Amina: "Carole Samaha’s return to the stage is a strong step"

Amina also touched on Carole’s return to the stage shortly after her husband’s death, describing the move as powerful and inspiring. She said: "What we are doing today is to continue my father’s legacy and also be there for Tala. Art is strength, and through it, we can express our feelings. Carole showed extraordinary strength by returning to the stage after the loss, and I salute her for that."

She added: "Of course, we are saddened that Dr. Walid is not with us, but he planted strength in us long ago. His legacy lives on, and it was his legacy that brought the event to life today. Thank God, my father’s reputation speaks for him without us needing to say a word."

The artist Carole Samaha had earlier mourned her late husband in a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing a photo of them together and writing: "Today, I lost my husband and my beloved Dr. Walid Mustafa after a long battle with illness. I have never seen anyone believe in struggle like you did, my dear Walid. I lost your body, but your spirit will remain a role model for me. I will never forget your last wishes."
