Tamer Hosny Warns His Fans About a “Fake Concert” in Iraq

Egyptian artist Tamer Hosni warned his fans about the promotion of a concert supposedly featuring him and the Syrian artist Al-Shami, pointing out that it is a "fake event."
Tamer Hosni shared the concert poster from the page via the "Story" feature on his personal Instagram account, commenting: "This page is announcing a fake concert and spreading false news. Please everyone be aware." He added, "Of course, it’s an honor for us to perform in Iraq, and God willing, I will come soon through an official and legitimate channel. Many thanks."
Iraqi pages had promoted a major concert in Iraq featuring Tamer Hosni alongside Syrian artist Abdulrahman Fawaz, known as "Al-Shami," coinciding with the release of their first musical collaboration titled "Miss Universe," which was recently released.
Miss Universe
The song "Miss Universe" has garnered millions of views thanks to its distinctive rhythm blending Lebanese Dabke and modern Eastern melodies.
The music video for "Miss Universe" topped the trending list on YouTube just hours after its release on Saturday, achieving record views in a short time.
"Miss Universe" was written and composed by Tamer Hosni and Al-Shami, arranged by Elian Debs and Al-Shami, and directed by Tamer Hosni.
This is not the first time Tamer Hosni has faced such incidents; in 2024, he warned against similar scams exploiting his name to collect fake donations or promote non-existent concerts.
