Young actor Yassin El-Sakka, son of actor Ahmed El-Sakka and media figure Maha El-Saghir, has called on others to respect his family’s privacy following the circulation of news about his parents’ separation after more than 25 years of marriage.

In a brief message shared on his personal Instagram account, Yassin expressed gratitude to those who reached out and urged the public to be considerate during this sensitive time.

He wrote via Instagram Stories: “I thank everyone who contacted me, especially the journalists. I apologize for not responding… Please respect the privacy of personal matters. Thank you.”

Choosing silence, Yassin refrained from discussing the widely circulated topic, opting to maintain a quiet stance amid intense media and social media attention.

Earlier, Ahmed El-Sakka officially announced his separation from his wife Maha El-Saghir, revealing that the couple had actually separated six months ago, with the legal divorce finalized two months ago — news that came as a shock to their fans and those close to them.

In a Facebook post, El-Sakka stated: “To everyone asking… Mrs. Maha Mohamed Abdel Moneim and I have been separated for six months, and the divorce was officially finalized around two months ago. I am now focused on my children, my work, my close friends, my mother, and my sister. I wish the mother of my children all the best and happiness.”
