The lawyer representing Mahmoud Mohamed, the official account manager of Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, filed an official complaint at the Second Sheikh Zayed Police Department in Giza Governorate, accusing the singer of insult, defamation, and threats.

According to informed security sources, the dispute began due to disagreements over access permissions to the singer’s electronic accounts. Sherine demanded to regain full control over them, which was rejected by the account manager, escalating tensions between the two parties.

The complaint indicated that the professional and administrative disagreement between Sherine and her account manager escalated into a verbal altercation during a phone call, which included threats and insults, prompting him to turn to official authorities to protect his rights and document the incident.

Mahmoud Mohamed is responsible for managing Sherine’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Legal Procedures Underway

Security forces have begun preliminary investigations and taken the necessary legal measures. The Public Prosecution has also been notified and has started its investigation, summoning the involved parties to hear their statements in preparation for resolving the case.
