Child Stung by Scorpion in Karak The child's condition was described as serious amid his family's shock.

A tragic incident occurred on Thursday in one of the villages of Karak Governorate, where a 7-year-old boy was stung by a venomous scorpion, sparking fear and panic among his family.

The child was rushed to a hospital, where his condition was described as "critical," while his loved ones prayed for his swift recovery and safe return to their arms.

He remains under medical care, still in shock from the incident. Just yesterday, he filled his home with laughter and play — and today, his family pleads for his healing.

Warning Against Venomous Reptiles Snake and reptile expert Yaseen Al-Suqour issued a warning to the public about the danger of venomous reptiles, urging caution — especially during outings in uninhabited or rural areas. These areas, often rich in moisture and vegetation, provide ideal environments for scorpions and snakes, particularly the highly venomous Leiurus scorpion.
