This comes after an announcement that Haifa Wehbe had signed a contract for a new movie alongside Egyptian actor Mostafa Shaaban.
The Musicians Syndicate officially notified the Actors Syndicate, headed by actor Ashraf Zaki, recommending that they not issue work permits for Haifa Wehbe to pursue her artistic activities in Egypt. This recommendation is based on a protocol of cooperation between the three artistic syndicates, following the suspension stemming from a complaint filed by her former manager, Khaled El-Tehami.
Haifa Wehbe had signed on for a leading role opposite Mostafa Shaaban in a new movie that marks his return to cinema after more than 13 years. The film will be the first collaboration between Haifa Wehbe and Mostafa Shaaban, and it is expected to feature many surprises.
Haifa Wehbe is also awaiting the release of her new film "Awlad El-Mahzouza," which will hit cinemas soon. The film stars Mahmoud El-Leithi, Nancy Salah, Tony Maher, Sami Maghawry, Mohamed El-Kilani, Karim Afifi, with Rasha Mahdy in a special guest role. The film is written by Haitham Said and directed by Marqus Adel. It follows a light romantic storyline where Haifa portrays a Lebanese girl who comes to Egypt and experiences various situations.
