Bousi Shalaby threatens legal action against anyone who defames her or denies her marital relationship

The Egyptian media personality Bousi Shalaby has decided to take legal action against anyone who speaks ill of her, amid her ongoing dispute with the heirs of the late actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.
Bousi Shalaby's lawyer, Haidy Al-Fadaly, a former head of the Family Court, announced that her client will pursue all necessary criminal legal measures against those who violate the dignity of the late actor by circulating statements or posts that harm his reputation on social media.
Al-Fadaly further explained that Shalaby reserves her legal right to pursue those who deliberately slander her, whether through publishing false information, promoting false reports that harm her reputation, or engaging in any form of defamation against her, whether through direct statements or insinuations.
She emphasized that the accusations related to attempts to deny the marital relationship between Shalaby and the late actor will be met with a firm legal response. She stressed that these attempts aim to erase her legitimate status as his wife.
Damage to Mahmoud Abdel Aziz's Sons
In a related development, the issue took a new turn when the late actor's sons, Mohamed Abdel Aziz and Karim Abdel Aziz, expressed their distress over Bousi Shalaby's appearance on a TV program, where she claimed—according to their view—that she was the widow of their father. They both stated that they have evidence proving that their father had been separated from her years before his death.
They filed an official report at the Sheikh Zayed Police Station, requesting the necessary legal actions be taken against her, and the relevant public prosecutor's office was notified to start an investigation into the matter.
