Saudi actress Nermin Mohsen revealed that her mother is battling cancer and is currently in recovery after undergoing a second surgery.
Through the Instagram "Stories" feature, Nermin shared posts announcing that her mother had undergone a second tumor removal surgery due to the malignant illness. She later confirmed that her mother came out of the operation safely and in good condition.

On the professional front, Nermin recently completed filming her scenes in two feature films. The first, titled "Mahmoul Makfoul", stars her in the lead role. It was written by Wissam Qattan, with screenplay and dialogue by Noha Al-Saadi, and directed by Karim Abouzeid.
The story follows a comedic adventure of three women on a journey from Riyadh to Istanbul, addressing themes such as fame, friendship, and loyalty. The film also stars Khairiah Abulaban and Engy Jaddan.
In the second film, "Is'af" ("Ambulance"), directed by Colin Teague, Nermin appears in a guest role alongside a group of prominent actors including Ibrahim Al-Hajjaj, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Faisal Al-Doukhi, Fahad Albutairi, and Basma Dawood.
The film revolves around two young paramedics in Riyadh who face daily challenges and awkward situations while on the job. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they find themselves entangled in a surprising incident, setting off a series of unfolding events.
