Sham Al-Dhahabi revealed that her mother, renowned Syrian singer Asala Nasri, suffered a severe emotional shock upon receiving the news of the death of journalist Sobhi Atre, which even led to facial spasms.
In an interview on a digital platform, Sham explained that her mother was deeply affected by the loss, as Atre was one of her closest friends. She said, “The news was shocking to her. She had facial spasms, and I was really scared for her. Her tears haven’t dried to this day,” highlighting the depth of the bond between Asala and the late media figure.
Regarding the recent closure of her cosmetic clinic, Sham commented, “God gave me patience and strength. Everyone was surprised by how calm I was during the crisis. I’m a chemist with a master’s degree in cosmetics. I worked for four years in a cosmetics factory in Egypt and studied skin chemistry at Cambridge University.”
Sham also announced the reopening of her clinic branch in New Cairo after it was temporarily shut down by the Ministry of Health due to licensing violations.
