Ashraf Zaki warns actors about a fraud scheme.

Impersonation of Qais Abdel Fattah and Shawqi El-Moghazi"Ashraf Zaki: "Several actors reached out to me to verify the identity of the impersonator
Egyptian actor Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors' Syndicate, has warned artists in Egypt about an individual impersonating veteran actors Qais Abdel Fattah and Shawky El-Maghazi for fraudulent purposes.
The warning came after several actors informed Zaki about the alleged difficult financial situation of the two actors, following repeated requests for monetary aid. Upon contacting them directly, Zaki discovered that neither had asked anyone for help. Further investigation revealed that a scammer was impersonating both actors to deceive others.
Ashraf Zaki stated: “There is a man impersonating actors Shawky El-Maghazi and Qais Abdel Fattah to scam celebrities. He asked several of them for financial help. Some artists became suspicious and contacted me, and after checking, it turned out the man is a fraud. I’m warning everyone not to fall for it.”
The scam came to light when actor Majed El-Masry was approached by someone claiming to be a veteran actor in financial distress. Doubting the story, El-Masry contacted the syndicate and discovered the impersonation. He has since decided to take legal action against the scammer and urged his fellow actors to verify any such claims with the syndicate before offering assistance.
Zaki and El-Masry emphasized the importance of confirming such cases through official channels to avoid falling victim to scams.
