Latest Updates on Sabry Abdel Moneim’s Health Condition

In the latest updates on the health condition of Egyptian actor Sabry Abdel Moneim, Dr. Gamal Shaaban, former director of the Heart Institute in Egypt, revealed details about his condition following a severe health crisis that led to his admission to the intensive care unit.
Dr. Shaaban wrote in a post on his Facebook page that the actor's heart condition has improved.
Earlier, actress Mariam Abdel Moneim confirmed that her father's condition had stabilized somewhat after being transferred to the hospital and receiving the necessary treatment.
She explained that her father had been experiencing repeated fainting spells, and doctors were initially unable to determine the cause until he visited a prominent cardiologist. Although the doctor confirmed there were no heart issues, he recommended further medical tests, which revealed a severe deficiency in blood components such as potassium and magnesium — the likely cause of the fainting episodes.
She added that after receiving treatment in the hospital, her father showed noticeable improvement, becoming fully aware of his surroundings and able to speak normally. However, during his stay in the ICU, he was not allowed visitors. He is expected to be discharged from the unit within a few hours.
Previously, Sabry Abdel Moneim had publicly announced his cancer diagnosis and a sudden health setback. The actor stated that he had faced numerous health challenges over the years, adding: “Thank God I got through it. I am now in good health. Over the past five years, I battled cancer, and God has truly blessed me.”
