Egyptian actor Majid Al-Masri is set to star alongside renowned actress Yousra in their first collaborative project, after signing on for the leading role in the upcoming film "El Set Lama" ("When the Lady..."), which is scheduled to begin shooting after the Eid al-Adha season.

The film, written by Kiro Ayman, is a social drama and marks a significant new addition to both actors’ careers.

Majid Al-Masri recently appeared in the 2025 Ramadan season with the series "Esh Esh", written and directed by Mohamed Sami. The series featured a star-studded cast including Mai Omar, Edward, Shaimaa Seif, Tarek El-Nahry, Nada Moussa, and Mohamed El-Sharnouby. "Esh Esh" garnered high viewership and trended widely on social media during its airing.

Additionally, Al-Masri has signed on to appear in "Snakes and Ladders 2", starring Amr Youssef, written by Ahmed Hosny and directed by Tarek El-Eryan.

As for Yousra, her most recent film appearance was in "Leilat El Eid" ("The Night of Eid"), alongside Riham Abdel Ghafour, Hanady Mehanna, and Ahmed Khaled Saleh. The film was written by Ahmed Abdallah and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz.

In television, Yousra's last drama project was the 2023 Ramadan series "1000 Hamdella Ala El Salama" ("Thank God for Your Safe Return"), co-starring Shaimaa Seif and Mohamed Tharwat, written by Mohamed Zo Al-Fiqar and directed by Amr Salah.
