Recipe Components:
Chicken Marinade:
- Yogurt- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic- ¼ cup of mint- 1 teaspoon of coriander- 1 teaspoon of mixed spices (masala)- 1 teaspoon of ginger- Salt- 1 tablespoon of biryani spices- Fried onion
For the Chicken:
- Cooking oil mixed with 1 tablespoon of ghee (clarified butter)- Lemon + cinnamon sticks- Bay leaves + fried onions
For Boiling the Rice:
- Bay leaves + lemon- Cinnamon + cooking oil for frying onions- Salt + coriander- Hot pepper
For Layering the Rice, we will need:
- ½ cup of coriander- 2 tablespoons of large mint leaves- 2 tablespoons of fried onions- Saffron strands soaked in water
