Mishwar alalam - Dair al-ahmar

A town in the Bekaa Valley, and from this land, the journey of ancestors who resisted all forms of occupation and the ambitions of tyrants for several centuries took place. Despite all the conditions that its people have endured, each resident of the town has developed a will and determination to preserve that town. It is Deir Al-Ahmar.

It is located approximately 104 km away from the capital, Beirut, and is one of the villages in the Baalbek District, situated on the slopes of the Western Lebanon Mountains, with an elevation of 1050 meters above sea level. One of its notable landmarks is the Lady of the Tower Church, which is one of the largest Roman temples.
