Al-Khawaja offers to buy one of Shehata’s children, so Shehata tells Mora of the offer and tells her that he knows that one of their children is not his son. Mora is arrested after assaulting Halouji and goes out on bail. When she gets home, she finds that the children are dead and doubts her husband.
