The series revolves around "Ruh," a 12-year-old girl with Down syndrome. She lives with her mother and siblings under the care of her grandfather, "Younes," who runs a fruit and vegetable shop in a working-class neighborhood. On the day of her older sister"s wedding, Rouh suffers a health problem and is taken to the hospital, where it is discovered that she is two months pregnant and the fetus is stillborn. This opens the door to investigations and tensions within the family and community.
