The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has begun rehabilitation and maintenance work on the Tafilah-Karak Road, a vital road connecting the two governorates. This work has been undertaken in response to repeated citizen demands. This follows follow-up from the "From Here We Start" program, which highlighted the deteriorating condition of the road and the daily hardships faced by its users several months ago.
