Freekeh and green beans with chicken 

8 pieces of chicken 

500 gm green beans 

3 cups coarse freekeh 

Chopped large onion 

2 tablespoons ghee 

2 tablespoons olive oil  

½  teaspoon turmeric 

1 teaspoon ground cardamom 

½  teaspoon black pepper 

A teaspoon of mixed spices 

3 cups chicken broth 

To boil chicken: 

Bay leaf 

Hale love 

Two cinnamon sticks 

salt 

Fried nuts for garnish 

Served with yoghurt salad with cucumber and dill
