Seven people were killed in a devastating fire that broke out inside a factory in the Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra district in Cairo, an incident that left a state of shock and panic among residents after flames and thick smoke rose and covered the sky of the area.

The scene witnessed a major state of alert, as Civil Protection forces rushed to the location immediately after receiving the report, supported by a large number of fire trucks that worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby residential buildings, especially given the narrow streets of the densely populated area and the intensity of the fire.

Security cordon Security forces imposed a tight cordon around the factory perimeter to facilitate evacuation procedures and allow ambulance vehicles to reach the scene, where the victims were transported to nearby hospitals, while firefighting teams continued their efforts to fully extinguish remaining fire hotspots.
