A slight rise in temperatures on Wednesday Warning of the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas

Jordan is expected to witness relatively stable weather on Tuesday, followed by the onset of an unstable weather condition starting Wednesday evening, before the weather gradually returns to stability by the end of the week.

On Tuesday, temperatures will slightly rise, with generally sunny and moderate weather in most areas, while it tends to be warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some low clouds will appear in the northern regions, and winds will be light from the west. At night, the weather will be relatively cold, with warnings about the possibility of fog forming in the early morning hours, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility.

Temperatures continue to rise on Wednesday to become higher than their usual averages, and the weather will be warm during the daytime. By the evening, however, the country will be affected by an unstable weather system. Cloud cover will increase, and chances of rain showers will develop in various parts of western Jordan, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms at times.

During the night, rainfall chances will expand to cover wider areas, and showers may become heavy for short periods and accompanied by thunder, along with active winds that may raise dust.

On Thursday, the weather will remain partially unstable, with partly cloudy to cloudy conditions and mild temperatures in highlands and warmer conditions in other areas. Rain showers will continue intermittently, especially in the northern and central parts of the country, and may be thundery at times before gradually weakening by the evening.

On Friday, temperatures will slightly drop to around their general averages, with generally pleasant and stable weather across most regions, while the weather will be relatively cold during the night.
