Death of a Family in a Gas Leak Tragedy in Hashemiyah A Heartbreaking Loss for a Jordanian Family Amid Prayers for Mercy and Forgiveness

Every Friday morning, he used to go to the mosque for prayer. Today, however, his place remained empty, amid the grief of loved ones shocked by the sudden and tragic loss, as he, his wife, and their two children passed away in a devastating incident that shook Jordan on Thursday.

In the face of such a scene and recalling the departed family, pain and sorrow dominated; there was no longer a breath of life in the home, and the children’s laughter vanished along with the entire family.

Four members of a single family died from respiratory distress caused by a gas leak from a heater in the Hashemiyah area of Zarqa Governorate, eastern Jordan. Ambulance teams rushed to transport the deceased to Zarqa Governmental Hospital, according to a statement from the Public Security Directorate.

The father, mother, and their children departed like winter leaves, leaving their home empty, with memories being the only way to recall their presence. Activists and close ones mourned the victims with touching words, praying for mercy and forgiveness.

This is the second such incident within a week, following the death of three people due to a gas leak in the capital, Amman, highlighting the need for awareness and strict safety precautions when using gas at home.
