Lebanon witnessed a tragic incident on Tuesday, in which the wife of a 60-year-old Lebanese man, active on the “TikTok” platform, lost her life before the situation ended tragically for the husband himself.

Lebanese media reported that the 59-year-old wife sustained direct injuries that caused her immediate death, amid questions surrounding the motives behind the incident.

Years of Disputes

According to reports, the couple had been living with long-standing conflicts and had eight children. The husband worked as a carpenter, while the wife resided with her children in a house in the “Al-Jamea” neighborhood, purchased by her brother, where one of their married children also lived.

Lebanese media noted that the man, known for his activity on TikTok, used to post videos discussing his family disputes, during which he made personal accusations against his wife and requested verification of the children’s lineage, claiming that he faced difficulties in conceiving.

The incident sparked widespread attention in Lebanon, reigniting discussions about family and psychological pressures and their impact on individuals, along with calls to provide family and psychological support to those facing similar challenges.
