A shocking incident occurred in Thailand when an 18-year-old girl stabbed her boyfriend with a knife following a dispute over her recent nose cosmetic surgery, nearly ending his life.

The teenager said the argument began when her boyfriend touched her newly operated nose, causing her intense pain and raising fears about the results of the surgery.

According to local media, she heard a loud “cracking” sound during the altercation, panicked about her nose’s appearance, grabbed a kitchen knife, and attacked her boyfriend, leaving him with a deep 10-centimeter wound on his head.

Emergency surgery

Emergency teams quickly rushed to the home, finding the young man bleeding heavily while the girl tried to control the bleeding using a cloth and stayed by his side. Both were transported to the hospital, where the victim underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and stitch the wound.

A Thai police spokesperson said the girl is known for frequently changing her appearance and admitted that she lost control in a moment of anger.

He added that the girl later apologized to her boyfriend and that the police could not arrest her because he refused to file an official complaint.
