The town of Al-Karima in the Northern Jordan Valley witnessed a tragic incident, as a three-year-old girl lost her life after being run over by a vehicle, causing
widespread sorrow in the town and local community.
Dr. Muayyad Al-Shukour, director of Abu Ubaida Al-Jarrah Governmental Hospital, explained that the girl was rushed to the hospital’s emergency department with severe injuries to multiple parts of her body, but unfortunately, she arrived deceased.
Dr. Al-Shukour added that the girl’s body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Center of the Northern Region to complete the necessary legal and medical procedures as part of the official investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
The tragic incident left a deep impact on the town’s residents, who expressed their profound grief and sympathy for the child’s family, calling for increased awareness of road safety to protect innocent children from future accidents.
