In a new step in her personal and professional recovery journey, Jordanian poet and media personality Najah Al-Masaeed revealed the latest updates on her case with her former husband, after recovering part of the disputed sum. She also shared personal details of her challenging experience and announced new business ventures in the UAE.

Al-Masaeed stated in Instagram Stories videos that her case was officially referred to the Amman court, noting that she has so far recovered 2.9 million UAE dirhams, while the remaining amount is still under legal proceedings. She added confidently: “As the saying goes, a right lost has someone who demands it, and my right will come back, God willing.”

Najah spoke openly about her difficult experience, emphasizing that it was harsh but did not completely break her, saying: “The blow that doesn’t break you makes you stronger. Yes, the experience hurt me somewhat, but I won’t allow it to continue.” She added: “I feel scattered and internally lost, but I will try to gather myself and move forward. I won’t say I’m strong, but I will forge strength; when the subconscious senses that you are strong and capable, it truly makes you so.” She clarified that overcoming the crisis for her meant not sinking into sadness and depression, noting: “Thank God this was about money and not the children, and better days are ahead, God willing.”

A new start in business

Separately, Al-Masaeed announced that she is embarking on a new business venture in the UAE, confirming that she purchased two new restaurants and will personally oversee their operations, stressing the importance of keeping busy with endeavors that provide material, psychological, or social benefits after any crisis.

A message to skeptics and followers

Najah sent a message to those who doubted her ability to rise again, saying: “Thank God, we will rise again, and I will not let this fall last. What happened is a lesson-filled experience.” She added: “I hope my experience serves as a lesson, and my advice is not to set expectations too high, because the fall will then be painful.” She admitted that she had not applied this principle to herself, as her expectations had been high.

Background of the case

The case dates back to October 19, when Najah Al-Masaeed announced that 5 million UAE dirhams were stolen from her home in Jordan. She described the incident as a human shock and betrayal by someone close to her, stressing that it was not merely a financial issue.

The Jordanian Public Security Directorate announced the arrest of her former husband, the accused, with part of the stolen sum recovered, while investigations continue to retrieve the remainder. Al-Masaeed expressed her gratitude to the security agencies for their prompt response.

The public reacted widely to her videos and the case updates on social media, expressing solidarity with Najah and admiration for her strength and patience, while urging respect for her privacy and refraining from sharing old videos.
