A 49-year-old man died and another man was seriously injured, while a 14-year-old boy sustained minor stab wounds in a triple stabbing incident in West London

Police confirmed that the suspect, a 22-year-old Afghan, was subdued with a Taser and arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder

Immigration officials stated that the suspect entered the UK in 2020, was granted asylum and leave to remain in 2022, and does not reside in Home Office accommodation. He was taken to hospital as a precaution before being placed in police custody

Authorities clarified that the incident is not being treated as terrorism, and investigators are working to establish any connection between the suspect and the three victims

The area where the attack occurred saw residents holding moments of silence and laying flowers and candles in tribute to the victims, while neighbors expressed shock over the violence in what is usually a family-oriented neighborhood

Police have increased their presence in the area, and investigations continue to clarify the circumstances and ensure those responsible are brought to justice
