The Passing of Ryan Al-Omari After a Battle with Cancer Teacher Mohammad Al-Omari: “Ryan is a Symbol of Patience and Hope” Habka Secondary School Mourns Its Student and Prays for His Mercy

A farewell hard to describe and a final goodbye in the face of a harsh reality: a departure that shattered the happiness of his family, who wept for him, and for the laughter that left with his body, worn down by a fierce battle with cancer that took away his innocence and his life.

Ryan Al-Omari, a fourth-grade student at Habka Primary School for Boys, passed away after a long and courageous struggle with cancer, leaving deep sorrow in the hearts of his family and classmates who were unaccustomed to his absence. Today, his desk sits empty, and the silence in the classroom recalls to everyone his laughter, manners, and kindness that were always present with him.

Ryan, a child with a big heart, left an imprint on everyone around him; his classmates remember his gentleness and love for others, while his school bag, which once carried his small shoulders, seems to weep his absence, a witness to his innocence and pure spirit that knew nothing but love and warmth.

A Tribute from a Heart Full of Sorrow

Dr. Mohammad Emad Al-Omari did not fail to bid farewell to his student, writing moving words, describing him as “a symbol of patience and hope, with a smile that never left his face.” He added: “Ryan was not just a student, but a model of strength and innocence, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of everyone who knew him.”

The teacher concluded his tribute with prayers for mercy and paradise, expressing his deep grief: “Your departure broke our hearts, but you will always remain present in our prayers and memories.” The school community responded emotionally to his words, showing sympathy for Ryan’s family and appreciating his human qualities and kind heart that will remain immortal.

Habka School mourned their brilliant student, posting on their official Facebook page:

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O tranquil soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], and enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise.

With hearts accepting the will of God, and with profound sadness and sorrow, the Habka Primary School for Boys, represented by its principal Mr. Mohammad Al-Jarrah, the administrative and teaching staff, and the students, mourn the passing of Ryan Khaled Al-Omari, a fourth-grade student, who passed away yesterday evening after a battle with illness.

We ask Allah to envelop our dear departed in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and inspire his family with patience and solace… “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Exalted, the Great.*
