Retired Singer Adham Nabulsi Leads Congregational Prayers During His Visit to the Damascus International Fair – Video

Social media has been buzzing in recent hours over the visit of Jordanian retired singer Adham Nabulsi to the 62nd edition of the Damascus International Fair.
The official page of the fair on Facebook shared photos of Nabulsi leading congregational prayers in the Flags Square, as part of the fair’s parallel events, marking his first public appearance since retiring from music and stepping away from the spotlight several years ago.
The fair’s management explained that Nabulsi joined worshippers and visitors in performing the Maghrib and Isha prayers in Flags Square, while the official page also documented his arrival in Damascus. His visit received notable attention, with many describing it as “wonderful” and “exceptional.”
Adham Nabulsi: From Stardom to Retirement
Nabulsi’s last visit to Damascus was in 2018, when he performed a public concert before retiring from singing in late 2021.
In a video posted on his official accounts, he explained that his goal in singing did not align with pleasing God. Since then, he has deleted all his songs from his YouTube channel, a decision widely welcomed despite the surprise it caused, given his exceptional voice that had secured him a place in the music scene even early in his career.
Nabulsi occasionally shares Quranic recitations and was recently seen in viral clips leading prayers in various mosques across Jordan, continuing his spiritual journey following his retirement from music.
