Dorra Portrays the Tragedy of Gaza in Her Directorial Debut

Tunisian actress Dorra is making her directorial and production debut with her new film "Where We Are", announcing a wide international and Arab festival tour following its premiere at the Cairo International Film Festival last year.
Dorra shared the film’s poster on her Instagram account along with a map of upcoming festivals, emphasizing that these participations represent "a significant milestone in the film’s journey and reflect its ability to connect with diverse audiences."

"Where We Are" tells the story of Nadine, a young woman from Gaza who arrives in Egypt three months after the war on the Gaza Strip, carrying twin daughters she gave birth to after five years of trying to conceive. Amid the uncertainty of her husband’s arrival, the film highlights the human and emotional dimensions of loss and motherhood amid the devastation.
Dorra’s venture into directing and producing comes after a long acting career, showcasing her artistic maturity and desire to explore new horizons in the world of cinema.
