The conflict between the neighborhood mayors, Aref and Wagih, escalates, while another confrontation takes place between Ward and Esmat, as she threatens to expose his corruption if he doesn"t give her her share of the money he collected through suspicious means. As usual, he tries to evade the situation with his usual sense of humor and opportunism. Umm Ayham arrives from her trip, only to find that the water in her apartment isn"t even enough to fill a cup of tea! She confronts Esmat in the neighborhood square, in the presence of angry neighborhood residents.
