Al-Wahdat Sports Club is a Jordanian sports, cultural and social club that was founded on March 10, 1956. The club’s headquarters is located in the Jordanian capital, Amman (city), and the public calls it the Green Giant. At first the club was affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), then the club became affiliated with the Ministry of Jordanian sports and youth
The club has been a member of the Jordanian sports federations since 1966, and its football team was classified in the second division league in 1968.
