In 2018, Jordanian photographer Omar Ghraibeh entered Syria on a routine tourist trip. At one of the numerous security checkpoints at the time, an officer demanded to inspect his camera… Minutes later, everything changed: fabricated charges, a shocking trial, and a death sentence. The sentence was later commuted to 20 years in prison.
He spent six years in various security branches and prisons, experiencing the most difficult moments of his life and witnessing indescribable pain, torture, and death.
