The Library of Ashurbanipal in Nineveh, the first library in history, was named after Ashurbanipal, the king who was passionate about knowledge and culture. He established it as a prominent center of learning and education in the Assyrian Empire. In this ancient library, the greatest legends were found, including the "Epic of Gilgamesh", which is the oldest known legend and story in history.
