The film"s events revolve around Shaaban (Adel Imam), a poor employee who is able to marry Esaad Younes, but he cannot give her an apartment in an attempt to seek help from his arrogant relative Bey (Imad Hamdi).
He gave him an advance of two thousand pounds to buy him an apartment to get married in, but Al-Farifi Bey’s daughter-in-law expels him, and he dies after a while, so his relatives decide on his opinion, which Al-Shamuli has, but the law does not entitle them to do so.
They convince Shaaban to impersonate Farid Al-Ghatrifi, son of Al-Ghatrif Bey, who died, so that he can get half of the inheritance, and events continue.
