In this episode, Jawad and his friend Nazmi go to the khan as Jawad prepares to travel to Palestine. Nazmi steals from Jawad, and in a cunning scheme, reports him as the murderer of Abu al-Layl. Jawad is arrested, and Nazmi tells him that he killed Abu al-Layl unintentionally because he tried to assault a woman.
