Kamal discovers his father"s intention to marry another woman by chance when he finds a love letter in his father"s briefcase, which has been hidden due to his father"s diabetes. He and his siblings decide to investigate the reasons that led their father to this decision and to dissuade him from it without confronting him with the truth and without their mother"s knowledge.
The play was directed by Samir Al-Asfouri and written by Samir Khafaji and Bahjat Qamar. It was presented in 1979.
