Ikhlas Otoum

Ikhlas Al-Atoum holds a Bachelor's degree in Radio and Television from the Faculty of Media at Yarmouk University in 2014. Her media career began as a journalist for Layalina magazine. She then moved on to work as a field reporter for the Iraqi ANB channel, then as a morning program presenter and correspondent for Al-Urdun Al-Youm channel. She then embarked on a career in radio, working as a news anchor for the Armed Forces Radio "Jaish FM" within the Al-Rayah Media Group, later becoming head of the radio's news department. She also worked for Dijlah News Channel as a news anchor and political interviewer, until she joined Roya TV in mid-2022 as a news and program anchor. During her work at Roya TV, she covered several pivotal events, such as the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the overthrow of the Assad regime, and the 2024 US elections, among others. Locally, she covered the 2024 Jordanian parliamentary elections, in addition to the Silver Jubilee celebrations (the twenty-fifth anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah II's accession to the throne). The Luweibdeh tragedy.
On the programming front, she presented the program "From Here We Start," a developmental service program aimed at serving citizens and solving all the problems they face in various sectors.
She loves theater, having recorded numerous radio plays on Amman FM. She has presented at numerous Jordanian theater festivals, in addition to the Jerash Festival in 2023/2024, and numerous official conferences and national events.
