Sulaf Fawakherji

<p>Sulaf Fawakherji is a Syrian actress, born on July 27, 1977 in Latakia Governorate. She belongs to an artistic family; her father is film critic Mohammed Fawakherji, and her mother is writer Ibtisam Adeeb. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Archaeology, at Damascus University in 1998, and then studied fine arts and light sculpture at the Adham Ismail Institute. In 2017, she returned to university to study Aramaic and Syriac at the Higher Institute of Languages at Damascus University.</p>
