<p>Samir Ghanem, born on January 15, 1937 in Arab Al-Atawlah, Assiut Governorate, is one of the most prominent comedians in Egypt and the Arab world. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Alexandria University and then met George Sidhom and Al-Deif Ahmed, to form the famous "Three Lights of the Stage" troupe, which presented many successful comedy sketches such as "Angels' Cooking" and "Romeo and Juliet." After Al-Deif Ahmed's death in 1970, Samir Ghanem and George Sidhom continued to work together, such as the play "The Married." He married actress Dalal Abdel Aziz in 1984, and they have two daughters, Donia Samir Ghanem and Amy Samir Ghanem, who followed in his footsteps in the arts. Samir Ghanem passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 84.</p>
