<p>Amy Samir Ghanem, whose real name is Amal Samir Youssef Ghanem, was born on March 31, 1987, in Cairo, Egypt. She comes from a prominent artistic family; her father is the late artist Samir Ghanem, her mother is the late artist Dalal Abdel Aziz, and her sister is the artist Donia Samir Ghanem. She studied business administration at the Modern Academy, but pursued acting after graduating.</p> <p>She starred in the series "Nelly and Sherihan" alongside her sister Donia.</p>
