Bassam Kousa

<p>Bassam Kousa is a Syrian actor and theater director, born on November 7, 1954 in Aleppo, Syria. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus, majoring in sculpture, and began his artistic career in university theater before moving to the National Theater. During his career, he participated in the juries of film festivals and received the Adonia Award in 2005 in recognition of his artistic work. He is married to Mrs. Thawra Al-Youssef and has three children. Kousa is known for his calm and professional personality, and his interest in developing theatrical and dramatic art in Syria. He is considered one of the most prominent veteran Syrian artists who have influenced Syrian drama.</p>
