The flash floods that swept through several areas of Tafila Governorate yesterday have reignited the debate about the municipality"s preparedness for dealing with such weather events. Several main and secondary roads experienced significant water accumulation, hindering traffic and raising concerns among residents about the recurring damage caused by the floods annually.

Residents called for addressing bottlenecks and the weakness of the drainage networks in some neighborhoods.
