A video showing elderly women attending school in Maharashtra, India, has gone viral on social media, proving that learning knows no age limits.
The clip touched many viewers, as these women dared to pursue a dream that had been out of reach in their youth.
The place featured in the video is called "Aajibai Chi Shala," a unique school where education has no boundaries, founded by Yogendra Bangar from Murbad.
The school opens every Saturday and Sunday and aims to provide basic education to the grandmothers of Fangne village in Thane district, offering all lessons completely free of charge.
An Instagram user named Siddhesh Lokare shared the clip with the caption: "Welcome to Aajibai Chi Shala—where education knows no limits."
One elderly woman said, "I can skip meals, but I cannot miss school," while another expressed her wish to be remembered as an educated woman.
When asked about her ambitions after completing her education, one of the women replied that she wants to become a "police officer."
