- Al-Faisaly thrashes Al-Jazeera and jumps to the top of the Pro League temporarily
The Jordanian Pro League summit ignited like never before after Al-Faisaly achieved a sweeping and historic victory over Al-Jazeera with a (6-1) score in the match held Friday evening at Amman International Stadium, as part of the tenth round of the league
This overwhelming victory not only confirmed the strength of "The Leader," but also propelled them temporarily to the top of the standings, pending the outcome of the final summit clash of the round between Al-Ramtha and Al-Wehdat
Six goals and collective brilliance for Al-Faisaly
Al-Faisaly displayed fiery attacking performance and perfect execution of opportunities, with six different players almost taking turns scoring, highlighting the squad’s depth and collective strength
The match ignited early, as Al-Faisaly opened the scoring with an own goal by Al-Jazeera player Alaa Al-Waraq in the 9th minute
Although Al-Jazeera quickly equalized through Moses Twum in the 12th minute, this was the only goal that troubled "The Leader's" net
Al-Faisaly then reasserted complete control and scored the goals one after another
- Magdy Attar: scored the second goal in the 16th minute, then returned to score his personal second and Al-Faisaly’s fifth goal in the 50th minute, confirming his brilliance
- Ahmed Al-Arsan: added the third goal in the 23rd minute
- Lee Erwin: scored the fourth goal in the 72nd minute
- Amin Al-Shanaina: concluded the goal festival with the sixth goal in stoppage time (90+1)
With this overwhelming victory, Al-Faisaly raised its points total to 25, moving temporarily to the top of the standings, surpassing Al-Ramtha. Meanwhile, Al-Jazeera’s points remained at 11, keeping them in sixth place
Historic achievement for Al-Sarhan and other round results
The tenth round witnessed another historic event alongside Al-Faisaly’s thrashing, as Al-Sarhan earned its first point of the season after a 1-1 draw with Al-Baqa’a
This draw was Al-Sarhan’s first, after losing all its previous nine matches, finally breaking the losing streak and claiming a solitary point that improved its position at the bottom of the standings
Although this result kept Al-Sarhan in last place, it carries significant morale value. Meanwhile, Al-Baqa’a raised its points to 11, temporarily occupying seventh place
Other matches played so far in the tenth round are
- Al-Salt 2 - 0 Shabab Al-Ordon: Al-Salt’s win raised their total to 15 points, while Shabab Al-Ordon remained at 8 points

The final match will feature Al-Ramtha and Al-Wehdat on Saturday at Al-Hassan International Stadium in Irbid at 6:30 PM
